I read in the Los Angeles Times that photographer Howard Moorehead had passed away on July 17, 2003. The article noted that Howard was a celebrated and talented photographer who had photographed famous jazz musicians back in the forties and fifties.
What the article did not mention was the fact that Howard was summarily discharged from his position at KABC News when technology changed from film to video. I remember that you represented Mr. Moorehead, along with others, who were discriminated against both on racial and age grounds by KABC's failure to train them in new technology. I remember meeting Mr. Moorehead when I worked for you as a law clerk, and I can still recall today your passion in prosecuting the case based on the unfair treatment against your client.
